How the recommendations work

We start with the job: beginner printing, miniatures, functional parts, multiple colors, a smaller budget or large-format projects. Each page gives one primary recommendation, the main trade-off and only the alternatives that are useful for that specific decision.

Research combines manufacturer specifications, current product information and recurring recommendations from the 3D-printing community. We do not claim hands-on testing of every product listed, and prices, stock and product versions can change.
